From Brazil to Langley Park

What a great day hosting one of our green bean suppliers, Cal’s coffee. All the way from Alta Mogiana in Sao Paulo to our new coffee roastery in Langley Park on the outskirts of Durham city, Cal enjoyed a tour and a tipple. Bursting with enthusiasm, knowledge and sporting a hessian coffee bag waistcoat no less, Cal gave us an insight into the world of coffee production on his Terra Preta family farm. With its high altitude crops between 900 and 1000 metres above sea level, the region of Alta Mogiana is famed for the unique characteristics of its Arabica beans. We can’t wait to feature Cal’s coffee in our upcoming launch and visit his farm in the not too distant future.
