We’re supporting East Timor’s flood relief effort

It’s devastating to see the recent scenes of flooding and loss of life in East Timor, at least 157 people have been killed after a tropical cyclone battered the country leaving thousands homeless at a time when the country is also dealing with an increase in Covid cases.

While coffee is grown by approximately a third of all East Timorese households who rely on the sector for income, almost 60% of the population in the main coffee producing region suffer chronic food insecurity.

We’ll be doing our bit by donating £1 from every bag of our East Timor coffee sold to the relief effort, as well as matching the total amount we raise.
